Samsung is set to reveal its latest Galaxy S series smartphones on January 22 during the Galaxy Unpacked event.

With anticipation building around the launch, a fresh leak has surfaced, hinting at some exciting camera upgrades for the upcoming Galaxy S25 Ultra. The flagship device is expected to include features aimed at improving video quality and macro photography, with the potential for high-resolution video recording and sharper macro shots. It is also anticipated to maintain the quad-camera setup seen in its predecessor, possibly with a 200-megapixel primary sensor.
A tip from Ahmed Qwaider on X suggests that the Galaxy S25 Ultra will support high-resolution video recording, promising clearer footage with reduced noise. Additionally, the phone’s ultra-wide-angle camera is said to offer an enhanced macro mode, delivering up to four times the quality of previous models. The device might also include an auto eraser feature to eliminate unwanted sounds from video recordings.
Qwaider also notes that the S25 Ultra could feature improved screen color accuracy and brightness, with a 43% increase in these areas. Furthermore, the device is rumored to support LOG video, allowing users to capture RAW color footage. Another anticipated feature is the ability to seamlessly switch between cameras while recording video, without any noticeable lag.
